Jenny Creek Fathers Day June 20, 2004

What a gorgeous Father’s Day. Our original plan was to run Jenny Creek from the top down, however when we pulled up to the top of the trail and looked down it was covered with Hummer (H1) sized snow drifts. At this point we turned around and went to the bottom of the trail and ran it the more difficult way. It is a beautiful trail that runs through the trees and at times along the creek bed. Everyone made the crossing at the old bridge without any trouble. As we approached the top we came upon the large snow drifts. I drove out following what appeared to be an old trail. Chris tried a different path around the snow drifts and we both emerged at about the same time. It took a little effort and a few tries for everyone to make it out through the drifts. But it was worth it.
