With our annual ghost run falling on Halloween day, we decided to make it a little day trip to free up the kiddies for some trick or treating action. That didn’t mean that the Ghosts and Goblins were in short supply by any stretch of the imagination, however. We began at our trusty Buffalo HERD overlook about midday, taking “Oh my God” road from Idaho Springs to Central City. The weather was crisp but not unpleasant for the end of October. We made our way to our trusty Central City cemetery. Not quite as scary as our normal night run, but fun nonetheless. Our mission this year was to make our way from the graveyard over to Fall River road, near Kingston peak, for the return trip. With snow being the uncertain factor, we brought Super Bo and Chris (with the Tomb Raider) for some steadfast navigation… The first off road fun had been a little splash that Art virtually drained on his initial pass! We all had a great time drenching our vehicles completely with chocolate water! After a couple of rocky sections (not enough to lock in the hubs for) we made our way to a nice wide spot for some lunch. We took our vehicles over the summit opening up some awesome views of snow-covered peaks near the St Mary’s glacier area. There we found some great play areas for some unplanned fun in the area. What a keeler way to exit stage left from Central City to Fall River road! I cant wait to get back in the area and explore all the spur roads! What a SPOOKY ADVENTURE!!! BOO!!! Christopher…
